Our DNA lies in Risk Analytics - financial, criminal/legal, Foreign Ownership Control or Influence (FOCI), compliance, cybersecurity/IT maturity, supply chain, and product quality risks; IT Support Services - cybersecurity and information assurance, enterprise architecture, network management, DevSecOps, and application modernization; and Contact Center Operations - customer call center technical operations, program management, and help desk support. These are our core competencies and our passion.

OUR CAPABILITIES

AO performs exceptional work in the related core competencies of insider threat, continuous evaluation, biometrics, and signature reduction. MICHAEL DOUGLASS

President

Mike assumed the role as President in December 2019 with a passion for leveraging information technologies in the Federal markets.  With extensive experience in the Washington DC area, a strong background in the government acquisition process, and a solid basis in enterprise applications and technology solutions, Mike is driving a focus on risk analytics leveraging advanced technology concepts at AO.

TIM BRIDGES

Chief Operating Officer

Tim is responsible for delivery across the full spectrum of Advanced Onion’s IT projects – new software development, maintenance and sustainment as well as data analytics, data quality and IT operations. Tim also provides key technical input and leadership as AO expands its presence into new technologies and markets.

LAURA HARASTA

VP of Finance & HR

Laura joined Advanced Onion in May 2013 taking on a wide range of responsibilities including human resources, day-to-day operations, accounts receivable and payable, payroll and general office management. She assists AO, a dynamic organization, in its overall daily functions.

TONI YORK

VP Contracts & Growth Strategy

Toni joined the Advanced Onion team with an extensive background in many aspects of Federal government contracting to help shape the direction of a growing small business in the complex information technology and personnel security public markets. She leads Contracts and Growth Strategy, which encompasses contracts management; proposal strategy, development, management and training; corporate policies, processes, and procedures; corporate certifications to include CMMI and ISO; and internal document management and CRM applications. Toni brings a passion for process improvement and is leading AO's effort to drive efficiency into their business functions.

BRAD MORRIS

Chief Technology Officer

Brad leads Advanced Onion’s special projects, research, and innovation initiatives. In his role as CTO, he is responsible for Advanced Onion’s technology vision and strategy in support of risk analytics, personnel security, supply chain trust, and complex event processing. He enjoys working with Advanced Onion’s partners to design meaningful solutions that empower human and machine intelligence.

LAWRENCE HANSON

Facility Security Officer

Larry joined Advanced Onion in April 2018, bringing in a wealth of knowledge in the personnel and physical security environment. Larry assumed the roles as the Facility Security Officer (FSO) and the Insider Threat Program Senior Official (ITPSO). Larry is responsible for maintaining all personnel/facility clearance matters ensuring that all National Industrial Security Program Manual (NISPOM) requirements are met to standard.
