Cindy Tank is a senior executive in finance and accounting. Blending analytical and strategic thinking, she has provided key value in driving the growth and financial performance of multibillion-dollar businesses. Over a period of 20+ years with defense contracting company Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), Cindy held high-visibility leadership roles driving strategic, tactical, and operational needs.
Upon SAIC’s split into two entities in 2013, Cindy transitioned into the newly formed Leidos as Director of Finance Business Services to lead a 200-person organization providing services ranging from billing to general accounting in support of the company’s National Security Sector with $3.5B in revenue. In 2014, she rotated back to Acting Vice President of Finance/Group Finance Manager for Leidos’ $1.3B Integrated Systems Group, supporting the business in achieving all key financial metrics through improvements in organizational performance, working capital, and profit margins.
From 1995 to 2013, Cindy progressed through financial leadership roles with SAIC’s Intelligence Solutions Group as FP&A Manager, Deputy Controller, Controller, and VP of Finance. During this time, she held a vital role in the group’s growth from $800M to $1.3B in revenue and provided oversight for teams of up to 150 people. Acting as a strategic business partner and fiduciary representative for shareholders, she led a number of key initiatives and delivered financial solutions to support growth, contain costs, strengthen internal controls, drive business integrity, and ensure overall compliance.
Cindy holds an MBA from Troy State University and a BS in Business Administration with a major in Finance & Accounting from University of Arizona. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of Arizona and holds active TS/SCI Security Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.
